Vernissage: Brot

Frisch gebacken und voller kreativer Energie – die jüngste KIOSK-Vernissage stand ganz im Zeichen von Brot! Lokale Künstler:innen haben sich dem deutschen Lieblingslebensmittel auf künstlerische Weise genähert und Werke präsentiert, die von der knusprigen Kruste bis zum letzten Krümel inspirieren.
Aber wie kommen eigentlich die Inhalte in den KIOSK? Dahinter steckt eine Gruppe freiwilliger Design-Studierender, die das kleine Gebäude instand hält und kuratiert. Wer Lust hat, selbst auszustellen, kann sich jederzeit melden.
Der KIOSK versteht sich als offener Raum für kreative Impulse in der Nachbarschaft – sei es durch Gruppenausstellungen wie „Brot“ oder Solo-Projekte lokaler Künstler:innen. Freshly baked and full of creative energy – the latest KIOSK vernissage was all about bread! Local artists took an artistic approach to Germany’s favourite foodstuff and presented works that inspire from the crispy crust to the last crumb.
But how does the content actually end up in the KIOSK? Behind it all is a group of volunteer design students who maintain and curate the small building. Anyone who would like to exhibit can get in touch at any time.
The KIOSK sees itself as an open space for creative impulses in the neighbourhood – be it through group exhibitions such as ‘Brot’ or solo projects by local artists.
